This is my baby girl Anabel. She is 7 years old. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth and later diagnosed with hypopituitarism at 3 months. This caused her to be blind as well as other medical conditions. She has been in a wheelchair since the age of 3. No matter how many set backs in her life she is very strong and full of happiness. Her favorite thing to do is sing and listen to music. She is non verbal and only says a handful of words but she can sing all of her favorite songs on the radio word by word. It’s been a tough journey and we still have a long road ahead of us but I have faith everything will work out some way. I am only 5’0 and 110lbs and I have to lift Anabels wheelchair in and out of our car everyday to bring her to school. It’s a little difficult but I do what I have to for my princess. She does not ride a bus to school simply because she had a terrible accident on the school bus last summer and I am terrified of something happening to her again. A handicap accessible van would make thing so much easier at least for a tiny part of our difficult journey until we must face more challenges. Till then we keep on fighting and Anabel keeps moving forward and living her life the best way she can with lots of love and support from her family and friends!
