This is my hero, my daughter. She was born 10 weeks too early and was 2 ibs 13oz After a 5 week NICU stay we got to take her home, Mother’s Day 2013. At 4 months we got devastating news that she had brain damage called Periventricular Leukomalacia or PVL and CP. This is contributing to her Cerebral palsy. She has spastic quadriplegic CP. She is my hero because no matter what she goes through she ends up smiling! She’s been through so much in her 3 years on earth. So many procedures and surgeries. Breaks my heart that she struggles so hard for what others take for granted. She can’t walk, talk, or sit up on her own. But she works hard to try! She teaches me so much about love and patience. We are in desperate need of a van for her chair and equipment she needs on a daily basis. I had to quit my job to care for her full time and cannot afford things we need for her and had to downsize everything so this would help us out tremendously! We have other siblings at home that love her so much! We are forever humbled no one expects to have a child with special needs, we love her so much! Please choose her to win!!! Thank you!
