Calling All Heroes
Thank you to the more than 2 million people who submitted and voted for their Local Heroes as part of National Mobility Awareness Month. The entry and voting period is now over. The top 5% of the entries with the most votes are being reviewed by an independent panel of judges. The three finalists will be contacted by a representative of the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) by the end of May. Please watch for updates on NMEDA’s Facebook page. Semi-finalists have been posted. To see if someone is a semi-finalist, search for the Local Hero and there will be a grey bar underneath the Local Hero’s photo that will notate if they are a semi-finalist.
